What You Need to Know

Gear List:

  • Clothing based on weather forecast during your hunt

  • Weapon sighted in prior to arrival, 100yards (preferred)

  • Ear protection

  • Binoculars

  • Snake boots preferred

  • Flashlight or Headlamp

  • Large coolers to transport harvested game.

Ranch Rules:

  • All hunters / non-hunters must sign a release.

  • Hunter must comply with all Texas and Federal game laws and any other applicable rules, regulations, or laws of other public authorities, including the rules set out in this Release.

  • All Hunters must have a valid Texas Hunting License.

  • People who are not on a release are prohibited on the property.

  • Hunts will be conducted from the blind assigned to the hunter by the guide or from any other location assigned by the guide.

  • Weapons must be unloaded while at the lodge and to and from the blinds. Hunters may load weapons once in the blind.

  • The guide’s contact information and other relevant information will be provided to Hunter upon arrival. Hunter is required to enter all relevant contact information on the hunter’s phone immediately.

  • A wounded (blood found or video shows hit) animal is considered a kill. Client will be required to pay trophy fee in full.

  • Guides will do everything they can by tracking blood or doing a search to find wounded game. While tracking wounded game,
    guides will carry firearms and make the kill shot if the guide deems necessary. If a tracking dog is needed or requested by the client, the client will be responsible for the cost.

  • Hunter must not walk around the property without guide.

  • Hunter must not cross any fence lines without guide.

  • Hunter’s personal vehicle must stay at the lodge.

  • Smoking is permitted only around the fire pit or barn.

  • Pets are prohibited on the property.

  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in the blinds.

  • All items taken to the blind must be returned to the lodge, including trash.

  • Outfitter, any agent of outfitter or a game warden of the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife may, at any time, search and investigate the hunter’s camp houses, motor vehicles, game bags or other requisite areas for the purpose of ascertaining violation of or conformity with the game laws.
